Self Love

Don’t be too hard on yourself

Don’t be too hard on yourself. Someone is looking up to you, secretly wishing they were in your place. We put that on the page. A lot of people watched. Almost nobody commented.

That’s how private self-love often looks. You won’t post about it. You’ll just unclench your jaw.

Being hard on yourself can feel like responsibility. Sometimes it’s only a habit you learned when kindness was scarce. You can put it down for an hour and the world won’t end.

Try a smaller sentence than a new personality: I am allowed to be mid-story. I am allowed to rest. I am allowed to be loved without a renovation.
